Agro-Eco-Advisors consists of Peter Brul and an international team of experts in organic farming, organic aquaculture, fair trade and slow food in more than 100 countries. Agro Eco Advisors ensures the quality of the work of the joined network of experts. Organic farmer 1975 – 1981 (cereals, vegetables, oil seeds, vegetable seeds, sheep, cows)
Researcher and member of the management team of the Louis Bolk Institute from 1977-1986. Co-founder – agriculture and food departments.
Co-founder and director of Agro Eco Consultancy (with Bo van Elzakker), consultancy in organic farming and fair trade (1986-2009)
Editor-in-chief of Ekoland, Professional magazine for organic farming (1988-1990, 2002-2007)
Setting up and development of the organisation of the Dutch EKO-symbol, inspection and certification (1986-1993)
Editor-in-Chief of Ecology & Farming, international trade journal for organic farming (2009-2014)
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nautilus, Dutch cooperative of organic fruit and vegetable growers (2007-2016)
Member of the Supervisory Board of Organic Corporation in Moscow (2014-2015)
Chairman of the Dutch Ark of taste, Slow Food (since 2013)
Initiator and consultant for organic health insurance in the Netherlands
Design and creation of the first fair for organic farming, the Biovak (now Biobeurs) in the Netherlands
